ImOn.comTV™ to power
NEW INTERNET TELEVISION SITES

Affordability, flexibility and ease of use cited by ApproachTV.Com in selecting ImOn.comTV™ product to power its start-up Internet site.

SAN CARLOS, CALIFORNIA, May 12, 2000 ,Underscoring the Web functionality, scalability and affordability of its ImOn.comTV™ , interactive Internet television-station-in-a-box, ImaginOn, Inc. (NASDAQ: IMON) (www.imaginon.com) today announced that ApproachTV.Com has purchased an ImOn.comTV system to power its new diversified entertainment Internet television station. Chris Bendo, co-founder and CFO of ApproachTV.Com, identified the ImOn.comTV product's affordable entry price and highly scalable upgrade packages as key factors in committing to the technology to power his site.

"We chose not to go out and spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to develop a proprietary system that would be familiar on only ApproachTV.Com," said Bendo. "Instead, we were looking for a reasonably priced interactive virtual console that would make it easy to produce our content and provide our users with a simple way to navigate that content. ImaginOn's ImOn.comTV met all of our criteria to the T!" ImOn.comTV allows Web sites to deliver anywhere between 20 and 200 simultaneous and unique video data streams, making it the ideal solution for ApproachTV.Com's applications. Our Internet site will allow users to view original content that cannot be seen anywhere else,"said Bendo. "This includes movies, newscasts, live sports and eventually pay per view events. The scalability of the ImOn.comTV system will allow us to increase the number of streams we provide as our site grows."

In addition to the approachable price point, the flexibility of ImOn.comTV's graphical user interface with ImaginOn's Virtual Television Console was an important factor in ApproachTV.Com's decision. The viewer-friendly interface, according to Bendo, will allow users to easily navigate the menu of available programming choices. ImOn.comTV also features a "Visit Web site" button that complements the standard button controls found on most video controllers. The button allows viewers to follow Web links embedded in the video stream that are pertinent to the particular video they are watching. According to Bendo, the feature will allow viewers to learn more about the content they're watching via programming or advertising-related Web sites.

Approach TV.com, which prides itself on delivering "interactive Internet television the way you want it when you want it," plans to officially launch on June 1,2000.
