Each ImOn.comTV instant interactive Internet television station features viewer-directed branching video with embedded Web links, a video-linked search engine, and video on demand;

With ImOn.comTV it is now possible for anyone to start an interactive TV station on the Internet, literally overnight.

SAN CARLOS, CALIFORNIA, June 22, 2000 -- Asserting that the era of interactive TV on the Web is now at hand, ImaginOn, Inc. (NASDAQ: IMON, www.imaginon.com) today announced that it will showcase three instant interactive Internet television packages at PC EXPO 2000 in New York, at Booth #3488 in the Jacob Javits Convention Center. The show opens on June 27, 2000 and runs through June 29, 2000.

Featuring from 20 to 200 unique, simultaneous video streams at prices ranging from $35,000 to $84,000, each ImOn.comTV station is a turnkey server solution that enables any Web site, including business and content owner sites, to present interactive television within a standard browser window on any suitably connected computer. ImOn.comTV's built-in private labeled Virtual TV Console offers users video-on-demand, viewer-directed video branching, automated Web searching, and many additional features customized for each client.

"ImOn.comTV made its initial debut at the 1999 Fall ISPCON Show in San Jose, California, where it was greeted with enthusiastic support," ImaginOn Chief Executive Officer David Schwartz said today. "From there, we refined our product marketing strategy at NAB 2000, creating three basic instant Internet TV packages that include everything a client will need to launch their first Internet television station: a high performance server, Java client-server software, authoring software, starter content, training, and a year of support and upgrades. These packages will be showcased at PC EXPO 2000."

The implications of this technology, Schwartz emphasized, for the entire television, computing, training, education, and e-commerce industries are vast and profound. Consumers watching an ImOn.comTV-enabled broadcast/Webcast will be able to click-on to any Web site linked to a show they are watching. These links could be to Web sites on the actors, e-commerce sites for product purchases, network sites, or anyplace on the Web. Television advertisers will be able to create a whole new kind of commercial that directly integrates the Web into the television spot, involving the viewer in making a choice, while the commercial is playing, that directly connects them to specific Web addresses. Product marketers will be able to measure the effectiveness of their television advertising in real time because they will be able to see instantaneously how many people click on a link that is embedded within the commercial.

"The bottom line is this," Schwartz asserted. "ImOn.comTV can put any traditional broadcaster, e-business, content owner, and training center into the interactive Internet television business overnight. Companies that have libraries of video content will be able to launch specialized Internet television stations, using their own video, processed by our ImaginAuthor authoring tool, the key tool that enables video branching, content-sensitive search capabilities, and e-commerce linkage for existing video footage." According to Schwartz, ImOn.comTV instant interactive Internet television packages are available for fast delivery. "Depending on the package selected and the amount of look and feel customization required by the client, we can ship anywhere within six weeks from the date of purchase," said Schwartz.

ImaginOn is demonstrating ImOn.comTV at PC Expo 2000 at Booth #3488 in the Jacob Javits Convention Center, from June 27-29, 2000.
